Job summary

NSA in Fort Meade, MD is seeking an AI Engineer to design and implement mission-critical AI systems at scale. You will work across data science, software and systems engineering to manage the full AI life cycle—from training to production and monitoring.

Depending on experience, you may join a mission office or the Data Science Development Program, collaborating with NSA experts and attending technical roundtables to advance AI capabilities for national security.

Qualifications

• ABET/ACET compatible engineering or CS degree and coursework in maths.
• Experience implementing production AI/ML solutions and platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle, DevOps and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to build and operationalize AI solutions.
• Design, deploy and maintain end-to-end AI workflows from training to monitoring.
• Adapt diverse AI architectures and evaluate against mission requirements.
