Job summary

Fractal Analytics in Texas is seeking an AI Engineer to build and deploy AI models using Python, and to design robust data pipelines for ETL, scoring, and monitoring in a corporate environment.

You will work with SQL, Airflow, Snowflake and Hadoop to integrate AI into existing infrastructure, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to CI/CD practices. This onsite role offers a competitive USD salary in the 140k–160k range.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills: Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying AI models using Python.
• Proficiency in SQL: Extensive SQL knowledge for complex data manipulation, querying, and analysis.
• Data Pipeline Design and Implementation: Experience building robust ETL pipelines, model scoring, monitoring and data offloading.
• Workflow Orchestration Tools: Proficiency with Airflow and with Domino and Control-M for automation.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Experience with GitLab or Git, plus understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Data Storage Technologies: Knowledge of Snowflake, Cloudera, Hadoop, HDFS and Hive.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner with diverse teams to integrate AI into existing systems.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in data and AI deployment contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI models using Python.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for ETL, model scoring, monitoring, data offloading.
• Apply SQL to manipulate and analyze data for AI work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI into infrastructure.
• Use Airflow, Domino, and Control-M to schedule tasks and automate processes.
• Manage code with GitLab or Git, and contribute to CI/CD.
• Work with Snowflake, Cloudera, Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive for storage and processing.
