Job summary

Agentic Systems is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and ship autonomous agents that execute core marketplace steps—sourcing, quoting, order matching, and supplier follow-up—on live transactions.

You will leverage Python, LangChain and related tools, consume LLM APIs via API, and build guardrails and monitoring to ensure safe, scalable operations with humans only where risk demands it.

Responsibilities

the company runs a live B2B marketplace connecting healthcare providers in low- and middle-income countries with pharmaceutical suppliers, working to make sure geography and income never stand between someone and the medicine they need. Backed by the Gates Foundation and Founderful. We're past proving it works and into scaling it — this role is what takes us there.

You'll design and ship autonomous agents that run real steps of the marketplace (sourcing, quoting, order matching, supplier follow-up) on real transactions and real money, with a human in the loop only where risk demands it. Not research: you consume LLMs via API and build the judgment, guardrails, and monitoring around them, end to end, and own what you ship.

Stack: Python, LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex/CrewAI (your choice), LLM APIs, cloud infra, CI/CD.
