Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting, Inc. seeks an AI Engineer 1 to design, develop, and govern AI/ML architectures supporting enterprise modernization for government and commercial clients.

You will contribute to AI architecture, model governance, data pipelines, and agentic AI capabilities, aligning with enterprise standards. Requirements include active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, BS in CS/Engineering/Data Science (MS preferred), 3+ years of AI/ML experience, cloud experience

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field; MS preferred.
• 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and API development.
• Understanding of AI governance and model lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML architecture design and cloud data pipelines.
• Develop AI model governance, monitoring, and lifecycle processes.
• Design agentic AI architectures and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector DB integrations.
• Assist with explainability, bias detection, and drift management.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to integrate AI into platforms.
• Support architecture governance reviews and technical assessments.
• Document AI designs, standards, and implementation guidance.
