Job summary

Vaco LLC in the United States is seeking an AI Engineer III to design, develop, and deploy agentic AI applications with a focus on multi-agent workflows and enterprise data integration.

You will pair full-stack development with expertise in LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases, collaborating with DevOps and data scientists to deliver scalable AI services in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in full-stack software development with proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in developing agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, orchestration, and tool integration.
• Deep understanding of AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agent frameworks.
• Strong experience with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience in designing and deploying APIs, microservices, and integrating multiple enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI applications that meet enterprise requirements.
• Create agent-based and multi-agent workflows that interact with enterprise applications and data sources.
• Develop AI solutions utilizing LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases, ensuring performance and accuracy.
• Build and integrate APIs, services, and tools to enhance AI capabilities.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from development to deployment and maintenance.
• Support and optimize cloud infrastructure, servers, networking, and application environments for scale and security.
• Implement automation through CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AI applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to security, governance, and compliance efforts for AI systems and data.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Help establish and uphold engineering standards within the AI environment.
