Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement AI solutions in production environments
  • Lead AI pilot programs from conception to execution
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI technologies and best practices
  • Contribute to full‑stack development projects
  • Optimize AI models for performance and scalability
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions in live production systems
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript)
  • Expertise in cloud services, particularly Azure and AWS
  • Extensive knowledge of API development and management
  • understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Experience with agile development methodologies
  • 10+ years of experience in a lead Software Development related role, preferably in a DoD or government environment and 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $82,100-$172,400
