Job summary

EHW Partners, a New York-based investment firm, seeks an AI Engineer / Software Engineer to build agentic research workflows, internal AI tools, and polished analyst-facing applications.

You will work closely with investment professionals to translate research processes into scalable tools for earnings analysis, company monitoring, document synthesis, and financial data analysis. This role emphasizes ownership and end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Strong front-end experience with Next.js, React, Svelte, or similar frameworks.
• Experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications using OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar APIs.

Responsibilities

EHW Partners is working with a New York-based investment firm to hire an AI Engineer / Software Engineer who will build agentic research workflows, internal AI tools, and polished analyst-facing applications.

This is a highly collaborative, end-to-end engineering role. The successful candidate will work directly with investment professionals to understand their research processes and develop practical tools for earnings analysis, company monitoring, document synthesis, idea screening, financial data analysis, and other recurring investment workflows.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Strong front-end experience with Next.js, React, Svelte, or similar frameworks
• Experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications using OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar APIs
• Hands-on experience with tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, MCP, evals, observability, and cloud deployment
• Strong product judgment and the ability to own projects from rapid prototype through reliable production deployment
