Job summary

HTC Global Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Lead AI Engineer (GenAI & RAG) to lead onsite and offshore development teams and drive AI initiatives across products.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering and 1+ year in AI/RAG, with strong knowledge of NLP, ML, Azure, APIs, microservices, and vector databases.

You will partner with product owners, resolve blockers in an Agile setting, and contribute to a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and career growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and/or data science.
• 1+ years of experience in AI/RAG/ML development roles.
• Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Knowledge of Azure services.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of vector databases.
• Understanding of DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for machine learning and AI.
• Exposure to AI governance and compliance.
