Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in San Francisco or Atlanta to lead complex, multi-disciplinary AI enablement initiatives within regional data center planning. You will partner with engineering, product, and operations to define requirements, manage risks, and deliver on time.

You will mentor junior team members, align stakeholders, and communicate tradeoffs to executives, while ensuring scalable AI solutions across the data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience with AI/ML projects, tools, or infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with data center in the areas of supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience implementing artificial intelligence within complex enterprise domains.
• Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven technical insights and translate them into executable commercial solutions.
• Advanced skills in planning and communication management in a cross-functional leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs that will enable the implementation of AI in all data center asset regional planning functions.
• Identify gaps and define opportunities for scaling AI solutions, standardizing AI feature implementation, and driving program delivery through technical judgment.
• Develop and manage complex data sets to create integrated data center asset supply forecasts (including energy, real estate and other critical infrastructure needs), leveraging AI tool outputs to drive critical supply planning and tradeoff decisions.
• Communicate resource requirements and investment signals to key suppliers and execution partners to ensure regional supply plans align with business objectives.
• Establish robust cross-functional governance frameworks to enforce planning principles, monitoring impact of asset delivery status and risks from site acquisition through construction completion on the geographic data center supply plans.
