Cognizant Frontier invites early-career engineers to join its frontier-certified engineer program designed to build AI-enabled software delivery skills. You’ll train, mentor, and work on real client challenges in a collaborative pod, using AI-powered tools to develop robust solutions.

Based in Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ, the role offers a Summer 2026 start and a $100,000 USD salary with eligibility for incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Recent graduate or early-career with relevant coursework or internships.
• Interest in software development, cloud tech, AI, data engineering, automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies.
• Write, test, debug, and enhance code with teammates and AI tools.
• Support AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and relevance.
• Participate in building knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operations.
• Collaborate in a small cross-functional pod to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Apply responsible AI principles and continuous learning.
