Job summary

Brex is seeking an AI integrations-focused engineer in San Francisco, operating in a hybrid setup with in-office three days a week and up to four weeks of remote work per year. You will own external AI ecosystem integrations, set standards, and drive secure data access and permissions across third‑party platforms.

You will ship resilient integrations that power Brex’s AI capabilities and collaborate with Security, Platform, Sales, Enablement and internal agent teams to enable trusted, scalable

Qualifications

• Experience building and owning production software.
• Ownership of user-facing products with external customers.
• Identity, authentication, and secure data access experience.
• Ability to ship and operate reliable integrations with external APIs.
• Strong product judgment and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own Brex's MCP Apps for OpenAI, Claude, Slack, and other embedders with roadmap decisions.
• Define technical, UX, and reliability standards for external AI assistant ecosystems.
• Design secure, auditable integration patterns including permissions and access.
• Build and operate production-grade integrations resilient to evolving platforms.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure integrations are safe, valuable and supported.
• Serve as center of excellence for reusable AI capabilities and shared components.
