Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years applied experience in system design, development, testing and operations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and security considerations.
• Ability to tackle design problems independently with minimal oversight.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-enabled capabilities to improve automation and value.
• Influences product design, functionality, and technical operations.
• Acts as a function-wide expert and promotes firmwide frameworks and practices.
