Job summary

HeyGen is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join a multidisciplinary team across AI Research, Infrastructure and Product. You will contribute from frontend to backend APIs and ML model integration, with a tech stack including Typescript, React, Python, and Go.

The role offers hands-on projects, mentorship, and exposure to scalable AI-powered features. We welcome students advancing toward a degree in CS/Engineering and prior software development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or within one year of graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in Software Development.
• Experienced with React, Javascript, Python, etc
• Familiarity with RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable features for the HeyGen platform across both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to deliver a holistic product experience.
• Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement timely solutions to keep the platform secure and up to date.
