Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team building scalable AI solutions for the Department of War. The role emphasizes integrating AI into full-stack applications and delivering high-performance interfaces with modern tooling.

You will work in an agile environment, use containerized pipelines, and contribute to SDLC with testable code, documentation, and proactive peer reviews. Onsite in Huntsville, AL with some travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience with AI/ML systems.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a US security clearance.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an agile team to build AI-driven products for military and commercial customers.
• Build and maintain scalable AI pipelines using containerization and orchestration tools.
• Execute SDLC, integrating backend ML logic with modern frontend frameworks for full-stack AI interfaces.
• Write testable code, participate in peer reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
