• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; five+ years of equivalent experience considered.
• Experience guiding applications through the full SDLC from requirements through deployment and production support.
• Ability to influence teams, create accountability, resolve ambiguity, and drive adoption without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve a scalable SDLC framework across intake, architecture, development, testing, security, release, deployment, and support.
• Coordinate with IT leadership and delivery teams to establish SDLC roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and approval points.
• Serve as hands-on SDLC lead for application initiatives, shepherding through lifecycle stages and ensuring reviews, approvals, and releases stay on track.
• Promote consistent SDLC practices through collaboration, coaching, and clear communication across technical and business teams.
• Identify gaps or risks, coordinate remediation, and escalate issues to IT leaders as needed.
• Document requirements, technical decisions, checklists, release materials, and supporting evidence.
