Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a creative, hands-on software engineer to design automated tests using AI for device driver software and SDKs on Windows and Linux. You will develop end-to-end tests, analyze results, and improve code coverage while building data-driven tools in Python and C/C++.

The role requires collaboration across multiple teams and a strong test-to-failure mindset. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Python/C/C++, OS fundamentals, and debugging skills, with experience in performance

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics engineering with strong academics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python/C/C++ with OOP concepts.
• Hands-on Python scripting with dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, pip, etc.
• Experience using AI development tools for test plans & automation.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and performance/load testing.
• Experience with SQL/Elasticsearch and OS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests incorporating AI technologies for NVIDIA's device driver software and SDKs on Windows and Linux.
• Develop automated end-to-end tests for device drivers and SDKs on Windows.
• Execute manual and automated tests, identify defects and report them.
• Measure code coverage and drive improvements.
• Develop tools to bring data-driven insights to test workflows.
• Build utilities in Python/C/C++ to optimize testing workflows in GPU domain.
• Provide peer code reviews focusing on performance and correctness.
• Estimate and prioritize tasks to meet delivery schedules.
• Test compatibility across products and interfaces.
• Report progress with effective, impactful reports.
