Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking a software engineer to maintain and evolve the FAQ Bot platform for the banking sector. You will develop AI/LLM features, design REST API integrations, and collaborate with analysts and tech teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires 3-5 years in software development, strong Python, and proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, with German and English language skills. Relocation within ALTEN Polska branches is possible.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Very good German and fluent English skills.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of GitLab, Helm, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, A2A, and LLM-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI integrations and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of AI and web application security, including guardrails, content filtering, moderation, spam protection, and rate limiting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Java.
• Nice to have: Banking/financial sector experience.
• Nice to have: GenAI solutions and AI agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the FAQ Bot platform for the banking sector.
• Develop new features and AI/LLM-based functionalities.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams.
• Participate in testing, deployments, and production support activities.
• Ensure solution quality, security, and scalability.
• Contribute to system architecture and work within an Agile/Scrum environment.
