Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a hands-on Information Security Engineer to develop Python-based automation and AI-enabled technology for our Cyber Threat Intelligence team. You will partner with CTI analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions and contribute to a new AI-driven platform.

The role focuses on building automated workflows, integrating tools via APIs/SDKs, and enhancing security operations. Three days per week in a U.S. Bank location are required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python programming and scripting experience.
• Experience building automation from stakeholder requirements.
• Experience applying AI to workflows or automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or AI agent development.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into Python code and automation workflows.
• Develop and maintain Python automation for CTI operations.
• Support design of a new AI-driven platform.
• Build AI-assisted workflows and agent-based solutions.
• Integrate cybersecurity tools via APIs/SDKs.
• Collaborate with CTI analysts and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Maintain and optimize security tools and integrations.
• Assist vendor-managed platforms and future tech evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort in CTI operations.
