Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin, TX is seeking a Strategic Pricing & AI Analytics Intern to join the Strategic Finance & Operations team. You’ll analyze pricing, customer and market data to identify trends and opportunities, and help develop AI-enabled tools and dashboards that support pricing decisions.

Collaborate with Pricing, Product Finance, Sales and Market Intelligence, translating analyses into actionable recommendations for leadership and building reporting solutions in Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Be at least a sophomore in a Bachelor’s program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and in good academic standing
• Fluent in English (written & verbal)
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, process improvement or operations research
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, customer, product, quote and market data to identify trends, exceptions and business insights.
• Document current pricing and reporting workflows and identify opportunities to simplify or automate.
• Apply industrial engineering methods such as process mapping, root cause analysis, workflow optimization and process-performance measurement.
• Support the development of AI-enabled tools, analytics or structured workflows that improve pricing analysis and decision support.
• Build or enhance dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel or similar BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Pricing, Product Finance, Sales, Strategic Finance and Market Intelligence.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and visual summaries, and present progress to leadership.
