Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an ambitious Strategic Pricing & AI Analytics Intern to join our Strategic Finance & Operations team. You will analyze pricing data, map processes, and help build AI-enabled tools and dashboards to support pricing decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Pricing, Product Finance, Sales, and Market Intelligence, applying industrial engineering methods and data science concepts.

Qualifications

• Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, process improvement or operations research.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the initiative to navigate open-ended or ambiguous business problems.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, customer, product, quote and market data to identify trends, exceptions and business insights.
• Document current pricing and reporting workflows and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate manual activities.
• Apply industrial engineering methods such as process mapping, root cause analysis, workflow optimization and process-performance measurement.
• Support the development of AI-enabled tools, analytics or structured workflows that improve pricing analysis and decision support.
• Build or enhance dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Excel or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Pricing, Product Finance, Sales, Strategic Finance and Market Intelligence.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and visual summaries, and present project progress and final recommendations to Strategic Finance & Operations leaders.
