Job summary

Nucor Corporation builds and runs the Oracle E-Business Suite backend to power Nucor's steel operations. We are seeking an Oracle EBS Software Engineer to develop, customize, and extend our EBS platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and evolution as the business grows.

You will perform hands-on EBS development across modules, create interfaces and reports, and support patching, upgrades, and performance. This full-time, on-site role is based in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years building and shipping production software with Oracle E-Business Suite development.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle database development and performance tuning.
• Hands-on EBS technical development: customizations and extensions using Oracle Forms & Reports, OA Framework (OAF), Oracle Workflow, BI/XML Publisher, AOL, and concurrent programs.
• Working knowledge of one or more EBS functional areas (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, or HR) and the underlying EBS data model.
• Experience building inbound/outbound interfaces and integrating EBS with other enterprise systems via APIs, files, and events.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development workflows and agentic coding tools.
• Demonstrated ability to take work from design through delivery, partnering with functional and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and extend Oracle EBS applications to support business operations.
• Build customizations and extensions using PL/SQL, Forms & Reports, OA Framework, Workflow, and BI/XML Publisher.
• Develop and maintain concurrent programs, interfaces, and reports; support patching and upgrades.
• Collaborate with functional teams and mill stakeholders to translate operational needs into reliable EBS solutions.
• Adopt AI-assisted development practices and agentic coding approaches to ERP work.
