Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ, is seeking an experienced Network Data Analyst to join the Data Insights and Visualization team. The role focuses on designing and operating visual analytics that surface actionable insights from network telemetry across global components.

You will develop agentic AI agents and AIOps-enabled dashboards, integrate LLMs, and build reusable visualization components to support executives, product leaders, and engineers with timely, role-based views.

Qualifications

• Experience with large global network infrastructures (routers, switches, WAN, firewalls, wireless).
• HS Diploma required.
• Experience with network monitoring/observability tools listed.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG or chatbots.
• 2 years building visualizations/dashboards in BI/observability tools.
• Experience building dashboards for executives, product owners, engineers.
• Experience embedding visualizations in web apps and building reusable components.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver telemetry analytics and dashboards.
• Mine and normalize network data sources and integrate into pipelines.
• Develop agentic AI and AIOps components for anomaly detection.
• Embed AI-driven insights into visualizations and web apps for executives.
• Build reusable visualization components for NCOS product lines.
• Improve telemetry data quality and measure performance.
