Job summary

EY is seeking a Solution Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations to design, build, test, and scale AI-enabled manufacturing solutions. You will combine manufacturing domain knowledge with data platforms, AI models, knowledge graphs, and reusable components to create production-ready assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, hands-on development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI-based manufacturing solutions.
• Translate manufacturing problems into clearly defined AI use cases, user stories, and requirements.
• Lead use-case development from concept to working prototype, including validation and handoff.
• Design manufacturing data platform architectures connecting MES/MOM, ERP, historians, SCADA, PLC, IoT, quality, maintenance, laboratory, warehouse and enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable manufacturing data models spanning assets, sites, lines, equipment, products, materials, production orders, process parameters, quality events, maintenance activities, inventory, energy, labor and performance measures.
• Define and implement manufacturing data ontologies, semantic models, taxonomies, metadata, and governance standards across plants, systems and use cases.
• Build and operationalize manufacturing knowledge graphs that connect structured, time-series, event, document, engineering and unstructured data for analytics, AI models and copilots.
• Design RAG solutions using governed content, knowledge graphs, embeddings, vector search and prompt patterns.
• Build AI assistants, copilots, agents, predictive models and workflows for maintenance, anomaly detection, quality, production optimization and decision support.
• Create reference implementations and demonstration environments showing how data foundations, AI models, copilots and apps work together.
• Evaluate emerging AI, data and industrial capabilities and translate them into usable components and roadmaps.
• Maintain solution backlogs, prioritize features, plan releases and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through agile cycles.
• Package solutions with technical docs, architecture diagrams and deployment guidance.
• Provide technical support as a solution expert and mentor developers and analysts contributing to the project.
