Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in Austin to contribute to financial services digital transformation using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS. The role emphasizes delivering scalable software and participating in SDLC activities across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean code, perform testing, and document solutions while advancing your skills in cloud and AI-enabled initiatives within banking and insurance domains.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, core Java and modern Java features.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS.
• Knowledge of AngularJS and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with Java 11/8 features like streams and lambdas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve performance.
• Support integration of new software features and ensure smooth transitions in the system.
• Monitor live applications and document coding practices for the knowledge base.
