Job summary

DataMap is seeking an Integration Engineer in Overland Park, KS to design and support middleware and custom apps that connect client systems. You will work with Boomi, Workato, TypeScript, and Azure, moving data between platforms like Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Workday and Dynamics 365.

You'll also build web applications using TypeScript/React hosted on Azure, taking on tasks alongside a senior engineer and engaging in early client exposure. This role emphasizes hands-on delivery on real projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, React, API integrations and data formats.

Responsibilities

• Build integration processes in Boomi AtomSphere and Workato with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write transformation logic, data mappings and validation rules.
• Develop scripts and small services in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build React components and screens for client portals and internal tools.
• Work with REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, and file formats like JSON, XML and CSV.
• Support deployments across dev, test and production.
• Monitor running integrations, triage failures, and escalate with useful diagnostic detail.
• Write interface specs, data mapping documents and runbooks.
• Support testing cycles, including unit testing, SIT and UAT.
