Job summary

Qualitate, a New York City-based firm, seeks a Healthcare Research Lead to shape the healthcare research roadmap, decide coverage, and publish insights that resonate with investors and corporate teams.

Reporting to the Director of Research, you will drive forward-looking analyses across pharma, biotech, medical devices, and healthcare services, partnering with product and engineering to enhance our AI-native research platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data-driven research creation.
• Able to articulate how Qualitate fits into investment processes.
• Deep knowledge of Healthcare & Life Science sectors including Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Healthcare Services, Managed Care, Life Science Tools, Digital Health, Health Tech.
• Strong writing for long/short-form content; able to synthesize data into insights.
• Experience experimenting with AI to improve workflows and automate analyses.

Responsibilities

• Leverage proprietary datasets to uncover insightful healthcare trends for investment funds and corporate clients.
• Develop forward-looking analyses across healthcare services, medtech, and pharma/biotech themes.
• Contribute thought leadership content for newsletters and client communications.
• Clearly communicate actionable insights to clients via calls, webinars, and events.
• Contribute domain expertise to refine research methodology and collaborate with product/engineering.
• Stay ahead of trends and technologies shaping healthcare and life sciences.
