Job summary

Sur is seeking a Full-stack Developer to help turn big ideas into blazing realities from our Mexico City HQ. You will build AI tools and custom apps, shaping client outcomes while advancing internal platforms.

Requirements include 3+ years with React/Next.js and Python/Django REST, plus Docker, Terraform, AWS, and strong testing practices. You’ll collaborate across teams and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.

Qualifications

• English at least C1 proficiency and strong communication.
• 3+ years building React frontends with Next.js a plus.
• 3+ years backend with Python and Django REST.
• Hands-on with Docker, Terraform and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience writing unit/integration tests and using Git workflows.
• Curious mindset with fast learning and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI internal tools to improve processes and project quality.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using Python Django REST Framework.
• Develop front-end components with JavaScript, Next.js and React.
• Write/maintain unit and integration tests to ensure deliverable quality.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with product and other teams to hit ambitious goals.
• Contribute to Sur's culture and vision.
