Job summary

Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, Illinois, is seeking an App Engineering Intern to join the App Engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and ship web and mobile applications, APIs, and integrations, using AI inside products and as part of the development process.

Reporting to Saad Patel, you will collaborate with full stack, integration, AI engineers, and business stakeholders in a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE/CE/IS/AI and remain enrolled.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and web app architecture.
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build full stack features across front end, back end, and data layer using React, TypeScript, C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, REST APIs and SQL.
• Embed generative AI capabilities into applications using Azure OpenAI and related services.
• Use AI coding assistants and tools to scaffold, refactor, test, and document code with emphasis on security and quality.
• Develop APIs and integrations to connect applications to enterprise systems like SAP and data platforms using Azure services.
• Prototype rapidly to evaluate frameworks and low-code options for feasibility and business value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories and responsive UI.
