Job summary

Intempt Technologies, LLC. is seeking a remote, full-time security/DevSecOps engineer to own security across the platform. You will drive the pipeline gates, vulnerability backlog, guardrails, and compliance posture, with a build-and-own mindset rather than policy-only work.

You will write the checks, fix findings, and oversee remediation in coordination with product engineers. This role focuses on automation, escalation-free fixes, and proactive security across all services the platform runs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security or DevSecOps with real remediation behind you, not just findings.
• Fluent with the scanner stack: secret, dependency, image, IaC, and SAST tooling.
• Able to code the fix, not only name the risk and open the PR.
• Grounded in CWE, CVSS, SSDF, SOC 2 framework guidance.
• Strong cloud and Kubernetes security: IAM, network policy, cluster posture, supply chain.
• AI-native mindset to drive scanning/fixing agents.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), GitOps.
• Familiar with the scanner stack across CI: secret, dependencies, images, IaC, and static analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the CI security gates across every repo: secret, dependency and image scanning, IaC misconfiguration, and SAST.
• Vulnerability management: triage by severity and exploitability, drive remediation to target windows.
• The merge gates and guardrails: branch protection, code-owner review, protected pipeline files, and standards.
• Secrets and supply chain: how secrets are stored and rotated, provenance of what ships.
• Cluster security posture and CSPM, in partnership with the platform team.
• Compliance posture: controls, evidence, and audits for customer security reviews.
• Build the security routines and fix machine: output, coverage, and closing findings automatically.
