Amphenol AssembleTech Co., Ltd. (AST) Design and Manufacturing Center seeks an AI-Driven Design Algorithm Engineer to automate design workflows from 3D generation to validation.

You will extract domain knowledge to build MCP tools and integrate AI agents, and you will push generative design for complex structures meeting signal integrity targets. The role focuses on intelligent modeling across Creo/ProE, SolidWorks, or FreeCAD platforms, enabling rapid optimization loops and parameter-driven

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin and strong CAD/CAE foundation.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to CAD/CAE projects.
• Experience deploying AI in industrial workflows (CFD, structural, EM).
• Preferred: Generative Design with GenAI for optimization.
• Familiarity with common ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Process Automation: bridge design to validation in an automated pipeline.
• Extract and integrate engineering knowledge into MCP tools and AI agent capabilities.
• Develop generative 3D design methods for topology optimization and SI goals.
• Drive secondary development on CAD platforms to enable parameter-driven generation and rapid optimization.

We are currently looking for an AI-Driven Design Algorithm Engineer (AI-Enhanced Design / AIED) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Process Automation: Bridge the closed-loop workflow from 3D structural generation through physical simulation and validation, establishing a fully automated and iterative "design-feedback-optimization" pipeline.
• MCP & Skill Development/Integration: Extract and abstract engineering domain knowledge, including Computer-Aided Design (CAD) workflows and electromagnetic simulation/testing experience, to develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools or specialized skills for AI agents and integrate them into targeted functionalities.
• Generative 3D Design Development: Utilize diverse methodologies, including end-to-end modeling and pre-training and fine-tuning paradigms, to perform structural topology optimization and explore innovative architectural designs that satisfy stringent signal integrity (SI) performance criteria.
• Intelligent Modeling Engine: Drive advanced secondary development based on mainstream CAD platforms, such as Creo/ProE and SolidWorks, or open-source 3D modeling frameworks, such as FreeCAD, to deliver parameter-driven generation and rapid optimization loops for complex structures.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Mandarin
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Graphics, or a closely related discipline.
• Solid understanding and foundational background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE).
• Hands-on experience in AI for CAD/CAE projects.
• Prior experience deploying AI models into industrial engineering workflows, such as fluid dynamics (CFD), structural mechanics, or electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
• (Preferred) Experience with Generative Design projects, particularly using Generative AI (GenAI) for engineering design optimization.
• (Preferred) Skills: Familiarity with standard machine learning algorithms.
