Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst to monitor systems and respond to cyber threats. The role combines hands-on incident response, threat detection, and AI-assisted analysis across on-prem and AWS GovCloud environments.

We require 4+ years in cybersecurity, Splunk/ELK experience, DoD compliance knowledge, and a Top Secret/SCI clearance. This on-site role is based at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah, with opportunities to shape DCO tactics and procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity incident response experience.
• 2+ years with Splunk Enterprise and ELK Stack for threat detection.
• Experience monitoring in AWS GovCloud environments.
• Hands-on GitLab usage in DevSecOps workflows.
• DoD compliance knowledge and IAT CSSP certification required or in progress.
• US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Active monitoring and analysis across on-prem and AWS GovCloud environments.
• Triaging security events with AI-assisted data correlations to reduce response times.
• Vulnerability management recommendations and mitigations.
• Conduct intrusion analysis and improve detection and mitigation processes.
• Draft documentation for briefings, reports, and analyses.
• Participation in customer exercises and DoD regulatory guidance delivery.
