Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Business & Data Analyst to join the IOA practice. You will analyze processes, requirements, and data, applying AI tools to speed research, support strategic decisions, and deliver client-ready insights. You will build prompts to enhance AI outputs and help design Agentic AI solutions for real-world problems.

The role offers exposure to enterprise clients, hands-on training, and mentorship from senior consultants as you grow your consulting and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; new grads welcome.
• Familiarity with Excel; exposure to Power BI or SQL is a plus.
• Nice-to-have: Python, Copilot Studio, or automation tools.
• Hands-on AI tool experience for schoolwork or projects.
• Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, requirements, and data to identify improvements and support strategic decisions.
• Use AI tools daily to speed research and documentation.
• Perform data analysis with Excel, Power BI, SQL to generate insights.
• Build and refine prompts to improve AI-assisted work.
• Support design and adoption of Agentic AI solutions and validate outcomes.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and maps for stakeholders.
• Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new AI tools and trends.
