Job summary

PwC Detroit is seeking an Intern in the DAT program to support audit teams, learn PwC's methodologies, and contribute to projects while developing your professional brand.

You will observe, ask questions, and apply a learning mindset across tasks such as financial reporting reviews, internal controls evaluation, data quality assurance, and even exploring AI and cloud approaches in audit.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, CS, or IT.
• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for CPA or licensure for CISA in your state of employment.
• Typically third year/ fourth year student for entry-level internships.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in independent assessments of financial reporting.
• Apply auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors.
• Assist in evaluating internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Engage in basic data quality assurance and validation tasks.
• Collaborate on applying cloud engineering principles in audit processes.
• Contribute to development and testing of AI platforms for audit purposes.
• Gather information to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data.
