Job summary

EY is seeking a software engineer to identify user requirements and develop UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will code, draft specifications, and align development with business requirements in a hybrid delivery model.

The role emphasizes API design, microservices, cloud familiarity, and strong frontend skills with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Collaboration across teams is essential for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year).
• Typically, no less than 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI across mobile, web and tablets; translate requirements into designs.
• Code, program and draft specs to deliver development services aligned with business needs.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure timely completion.
