Placements24 is seeking a Junior AI Developer intern to join our AI & Emerging Technologies team in Upington, Northern Cape. You will learn by doing—coding, testing, and supporting AI projects under guidance from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of programming concepts and languages, particularly Python.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment in Upington, Northern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python).
