Job summary

Asana is hiring to design and build AI-augmented workflows and autonomous cloud agents that help coding agents understand the codebase, follow engineering practices, and enable engineers to complete software tasks faster and with more confidence.

You will develop IDE/editor/CLI integrations, reusable agent skills, tools, and context, and refine AI-assisted code review workflows to improve feedback during reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, infrastructure, IDE/editor integrations, CLIs, or workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools or extending coding agents or AI-powered code review systems.
• Experience building evaluation and quality frameworks for AI-generated outputs.
• Strong technical judgment and systems design skills, with pragmatic tradeoffs in ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-augmented workflows and systems to help coding agents understand the codebase and follow engineering practices.
• Design and scale autonomous cloud agents to tackle complex multi-step engineering tasks.
• Build and refine IDE, editor, and CLI integrations for intuitive AI-assisted development.
• Create reusable agent skills, tools, context, and integrations for teams to reuse.
• Improve AI-assisted code review workflows for faster, higher-quality feedback.
