Vernovis is seeking an AI Developer III in Cincinnati to design, build, and deploy enterprise GenAI solutions with a focus on RAG. You will connect LLMs to enterprise data, APIs, and systems, owning projects from experimentation to production deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on software development, deep C#/NET and Python expertise, and experience with Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Strong problem-solving and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong development experience with C#/NET and Python.
• Hands-on experience building RAG and LLM-based applications.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, SQL/databases, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
• Full-stack development experience; React/JavaScript and Azure or AWS experience strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with experience partnering across business and technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RAG and Generative AI applications end-to-end, using C#/NET and Python to build production-ready solutions.
• Integrate LLMs and AI capabilities with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, documents, and other internal data sources.
• Build and maintain AI solutions using frameworks such as Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, while evaluating emerging LLM models, APIs, and development tools.
• Own AI applications through production, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient solutions within Azure or AWS using Agile software development practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, and solution architects to understand business challenges and translate them into practical GenAI solutions and automation.
• Contribute to technical design decisions, reusable development patterns, and best practices while helping mentor and support other developers.

This individual will develop full‑stack AI applications that connect LLMs with enterprise documents, databases, APIs, and existing systems, owning solutions from initial experimentation through production deployment and support. The ideal candidate brings a strong software engineering foundation, understands modern AI development and LLM prompting practices, and can translate business challenges into scalable, secure solutions. Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating their development capabilities through a technical coding assessment as part of the interview process.
