Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role works closely with software engineers, architects, business stakeholders, legal teams, data professionals, and technology partners to design, build, test, and maintain scalable AI solutions. The position contributes to the delivery of innovative products and services that advance the firm's use of AI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to understand workflows, gather requirements, and translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Develop software components and integrations using technologies such as C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, React, APIs, and related development frameworks.
  • Configure and support AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services and related cloud technologies.
  • Assist in the implementation of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agent workflows, using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, or LlamaIndex.
  • Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute recommendations for scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and validation processes to ensure solution quality and reliability.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, security, and operational standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment procedures, and support materials.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and other stakeholders to support secure, compliant, and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, standards, and team knowledge.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in pilot programs, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations related to AI and automation.
  • Support user training, adoption activities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Software development skills using Python, C#, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and application integrations.
