Job summary

Stellantis is seeking motivated interns for an in-person AI Design internship at the Auburn Hills headquarters. You will work within the AI Design Hub on real pain points, building AI agents and 3D automation tools alongside designers and studio engineers.

The program emphasizes mentorship, project-based learning, and exposure to Stellantis’ GenAI tooling. Eligible interns may be invited back for future opportunities or full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Working knowledge of Python or a comparable programming language.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Willingness to relocate for internship.
• Completion of freshman year or higher by Spring 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Portfolio representing work from freshman year to present.

Responsibilities

• Assist AI Design Hub on prototype AI agents, automations, and tools.
• Support AI-assisted 3D creation, Blender workflows, and geometry translation.
• Help develop AI-assisted packaging tools using engineering data and standards.
• Organize Design data so AI can retrieve historical programs and best practices.
• Turn ideas into working proof-of-concepts quickly.
• Collaborate with designers to test prototypes and document performance.
• Measure value through time saved, rework reduction, and capacity created.
