Job summary

Huron Consulting is seeking a technically adept Technical Project Manager to join our AI practice. You will coordinate delivery pods that bring AI-powered solutions to life for clients in higher education, healthcare, and utilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing software or AI/ML projects.
• Strong knowledge of agile delivery, backlog management, and release coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
• Familiarity with AI solution development lifecycles is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery pods made up of AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and Analysts to deliver projects on time and with high quality.
• Partner with client stakeholders to clarify scope, gather requirements, and align priorities.
• Translate client objectives into technical deliverables and actionable user stories for the AI development team.
• Manage agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release readiness.
• Track milestones, risks, and dependencies, reporting delivery progress to leadership and clients.
• Coordinate testing, documentation, and handoff for production deployment.
• Promote consistency and efficiency by applying standard delivery frameworks and best practices across engagements.
