Job summary

Lumecg in California seeks an experienced Senior AI/ML Project Manager to lead multiple generative AI initiatives. You will define scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while guiding teams across business and technical disciplines.

The role requires expertise in AI concepts, data pipelines, and model lifecycles, with strong program governance and stakeholder management. Expect collaboration across IT and business lines and adherence to security and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience on complex technology projects (> $1M budgets).
• ≥2 years managing AI/ML and data analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams with multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficient with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives simultaneously.
• Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project management documentation including Charters, Communication Plans, Risk & Issue Logs, Training Plans, Transition Plans, Closeout Reports.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate AI strategy into executable delivery plans.
• Oversee AI adoption and organizational change management activities.
• Ensure AI solutions align with security, governance, compliance, and ethical standards.
• Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and integration planning.
• Review business requirements, AI models, training datasets, and feature engineering approaches.
• Manage vendor performance and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare executive presentations and weekly/monthly status reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of AI delivery frameworks and methodologies.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
