Sotalent is seeking an AI Data Quality Specialist for data labeling and evaluation. This fully remote contract role supports candidates in the United States or Canada, with flexible hours and an hourly pay rate of US$17.

You will evaluate AI outputs across text, images, videos and documents against detailed quality criteria, write clear explanations for decisions, and maintain high accuracy by following instructions independently.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Excellent written English, with clear and organized communication.
• At least one year of experience evaluating or reviewing work against defined standards.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions independently.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

AI Data Quality Specialist – Data Labeling & Evaluation

Location: Remote – United States or Canada

Job Type: Contract

Pay: US$17 per hour

Role Overview

Evaluate AI-generated content across text, images, video and documents to improve the accuracy, consistency and quality of AI systems. This role suits detail-oriented professionals with strong written communication skills and experience reviewing creative, technical or editorial work against defined standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs against detailed quality criteria and guidelines.
• Review text, images, videos and documents for errors, inconsistencies and quality issues.
• Apply sound judgment when assessing creative and technical content.
• Write clear, well-reasoned explanations to support evaluation decisions.
• Follow established guidelines independently and maintain high standards of accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Excellent written English, with clear and well-organised communication.
• At least one year of experience evaluating or reviewing work against defined standards, such as UI/UX design, graphic design, photography, video production, editorial work, research, quality assurance or technical writing.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions independently.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Technical Requirements

• Desktop or laptop running Windows 10 or later, or a recent version of macOS.
• Stable, high-speed internet with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
• Chromebooks, Linux-based systems and tablets are not supported.
