Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an AI Data Scientist Lead within Payments Data and Analytics in New York.

The role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end AI solutions that drive commercial impact, including chat assistants and workflow automations powered by LLMs and multi-agent patterns. You will build data pipelines and dashboards, prototype new AI capabilities, and ensure quality and reliability through testing and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in STEM or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
  • 6+ years relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in quantitative research techniques and analytics using Python.
  • Experience with LLMs and agent AI techniques.
  • Ability to translate strategy into deliverables and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize solutions that automate and optimize business processes.
  • Design and refine prompts to improve AI model performance in collaboration with SMEs.
  • Iterate designs and conduct rigorous testing for reliability and effectiveness.
  • Create data pipelines and dashboards using Snowflake, Python, and Tableau.
  • Monitor AI model performance and implement updates to maintain quality and relevance.
  • Partner with data owners, managers, data engineers, and stakeholders to develop data models and algorithms.
  • Support Customer Insights applications and ad hoc client analytics requests.
