Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and analytics in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency with BI tooling (Power BI, Fabric).
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents, automated workflows, or AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and API integrations.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (RCA, SPC, Pareto) and quality KPIs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large manufacturing datasets to identify defect trends, correlations, anomalies, and root causes.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Python, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design, deploy AI agents to analyze quality data, generate reports, and support engineering decisions.
• Integrate AI solutions with manufacturing databases, quality management systems, and enterprise data sources.
• Automate quality monitoring, defect analysis, root-cause investigations, and early-warning detection.

We are seeking an experienced AI & Data Engineer – Manufacturing Quality to help transform manufacturing and quality data into actionable insights through advanced analytics, AI agents, and automated workflows. In this role, you will combine data engineering, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing expertise to identify quality trends, uncover root causes, improve operational performance, and support faster, data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, scalable digital solutions that enhance quality management and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze large manufacturing and quality datasets to identify defect trends, correlations, anomalies, and root causes.
• Develop interactive dashboards, automated reports, and analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to analyze quality data, answer technical questions, generate reports, and support engineering decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in data engineering, data analytics, AI development, or a related technical field, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents, automated workflows, or AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and API integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, or similar AI development platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of machine learning, statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and data visualization.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Pareto analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and quality KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business and engineering insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
