Job summary

Altimetrik / S&P Global is hiring a Senior AI Data Engineer in a hybrid/Princeton/NYC setting. You will build and optimize ML data pipelines, enable AI governance, and oversee model tracking and lifecycle management across multiple platforms.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong Python, Databricks, Spark, MLflow, and extensive knowledge of GenAI, RAG, and governance. Collaboration with data scientists and architects is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or AI data pipelines.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for ML pipelines.
• Proficiency with MLflow for model versioning and tracking.
• Experience with AI lifecycle including training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Feature engineering, data preprocessing and SQL expertise.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings and similarity search.
• Familiarity with MCP servers, data quality, lineage and governance.
• Experience with model monitoring, drift detection and performance tracking.
• Security and compliance for AI data/model artifacts.
• Experience with GenAI, RAG, fine-tuning; LangChain/HuggingFace.
• Knowledge graphs (Neo4j, Neptune) and cloud ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI).
• Ability to collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers and architects.
