Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Data Architect to define enterprise data architecture, configure the Microsoft Fabric platform, and lead high-impact data products and AI initiatives across Fabric, applications, analytics and integrations.

This role bridges technical implementation and business strategy, ensuring secure, reusable, and reliable data and AI capabilities aligned with JE Dunn’s priorities, guiding Data and Development teams from concept through production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and related enterprise technology roles.
• Proven experience designing enterprise solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Foundry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data architecture for high-impact data products across Fabric, applications, analytics, AI, and integrations.
• Define and govern Microsoft Foundry architecture and deployments, including environments, deployments, and cost.
• Design end-to-end data flows and data models to support operational workflows, reporting, analytics, and AI.
• Ensure security, governance, and data ownership with metadata, lineage, and change management.
• Coach domain engineers and citizen developers through templates, guardrails, and production-ready paths.
