Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. is seeking a Data & AI Analytics Intern for Summer 2027 to support the Information Technology organization.

The intern will gain practical experience applying Glean and other AI tools to real-world business challenges, including identifying, testing, documenting, and presenting AI use cases. The role will also provide exposure to data analytics, reporting, business systems, and technology initiatives in an IT environment, with mentorship from experienced IT

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled rising senior pursuing a BA in Data Analytics or related field.
• Coursework or experience in data analysis, statistics, databases, BI, AI, or data visualization.
• Strong interest in generative AI and AI tools such as Glean.
• Familiar with Excel and Power BI; experience with SQL, Python, Microsoft Fabric, or prompt engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team; attention to detail; data accuracy; handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Use Glean to research and support AI business use cases across ECI.
• Develop prompts and workflows for AI use cases.
• Evaluate AI-generated results for quality and usefulness.
• Collect, clean, and validate data from business/IT systems.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Present findings to IT and business stakeholders.
• Participate in intern activities and summer program.
