Job summary

BCG Platinion is offering a Cybersecurity Internship in the United States with offices in New York and Chicago. Interns will tackle technology and digital risk challenges, advising clients on strategy, architecture, cloud, data, and AI while embedding cybersecurity and resilience into decisions.

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data/AI, or related fields, and expect graduation between Dec 2027 and Jul 2028.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree in CS, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data/AI, business, or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure unclear problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Curiosity about how technology enables business strategy and cybersecurity.
• Foundational cybersecurity concepts via coursework, projects, internships, or certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud, software development, data/AI, digital products, or enterprise tech.
• Ability to collaborate in teams and seek feedback to improve quickly.
• High learning agility and enthusiasm for rapidly developing expertise in unfamiliar topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist cybersecurity and digital risk advisory across strategy, architecture, cloud, data, and AI decisions.
• Contribute to research, analysis, and synthesis of findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support clients by translating business objectives into technical solutions with cybersecurity implications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver structured analyses and written materials.
• Learn and apply cybersecurity concepts to real-world technology and business challenges.
