Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an experienced cybersecurity engineer to design and implement AI-powered security solutions for enterprise clients in New York. You will collaborate with client stakeholders to define use cases, architectures, and delivery plans, translating rough ideas into concrete designs and roadmaps.

You'll prototype and deploy AI-assisted security tooling, integrate with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IAM, and cloud tools, and ensure governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles (engineering, security ops, or security architecture).
• Hands-on AI/ML security experience with LLMs or AI agents.
• Proficient in Python; scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IAM, and NIST MITRE frameworks.
• Cloud security on AWS and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Scope AI use cases in cybersecurity with client security stakeholders.
• Lead whiteboarding and design sessions; turn rough problem statements into clear architectures and delivery plans.
• Build prototypes and production solutions fast, using AI coding assistants and LLM/agent frameworks.
• Integrate AI solutions with the client's security tools and data sources (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IAM, cloud security tools).
• Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, and governance needs, including regulated environments.
• Write up designs, runbooks, and findings; present progress and recommendations to client leadership.
• Act as Agilisium's onsite technical point of contact; identify follow-on opportunities and report them back to the account team.

Job description

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or security architecture.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or ML in a security context.
• Strong, practical use of AI coding tools, Claude Code preferred, plus solid scripting/development skills (Python; PowerShell or Bash).
• Working knowledge of security tooling and frameworks: SIEM/SOAR (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, IAM, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Cloud security experience on AWS and/or Azure.
• Excellent whiteboarding, communication, and client-facing skills; comfortable working directly with senior security stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with client security stakeholders to scope AI use cases in cybersecurity: threat detection, alert triage, vulnerability management, security operations automation, and policy/compliance analysis.
• Lead whiteboarding and design sessions; turn rough problem statements into clear architectures and delivery plans.
• Build prototypes and production solutions fast, using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) and LLM/agent frameworks.
• Integrate AI solutions with the client's security tools and data sources (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IAM, cloud security posture tools).
• Make sure AI solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, and governance needs, including GxP/regulated-environment expectations where they apply.
• Write up designs, runbooks, and findings; present progress and recommendations to client leadership.
• Act as Agilisium's onsite technical point of contact; identify follow-on opportunities and report them back to the account team.
