About the Role

We’re looking for an AI Content & Prompting Specialist to help configure, test, and refine AI-powered content solutions for Talkoot customers. Working across customer requirements, brand guidelines, creative direction, and Talkoot’s AI tools, this role translates what accurate, brand-right, AEO and search-optimized content looks like into prompts and instructions that can reliably produce high-quality outputs at scale.

This is a hands‑on production role for someone with both editorial and AI expertise who is comfortable working with generative AI, diagnosing why outputs are not meeting expectations, and iterating quickly toward a solution. The AI Content & Prompting Specialist partners closely with Creative, Production, Customer Success, and Applied AI teams to move customer content programs from requirements through AI setup and production.

What you’ll do

• Build, test, and refine prompts and AI instructions for customer‑specific content use cases, including product descriptions, titles, bullets, SEO content, FAQs, and other ecommerce content.
• Translate brand guidelines, creative direction, customer feedback, and examples into clear, repeatable instructions for AI systems.
• Evaluate AI-generated content against customer requirements and identify why outputs are succeeding or failing.
• Edit and refine AI-generated content for accuracy, clarity, readability, and brand voice, ensuring final copy meets customer requirements, legal guidelines, and editorial standards
• Troubleshoot prompt and output issues through structured experimentation rather than relying solely on manual rewriting.
• Iterate prompts to improve accuracy, brand alignment, consistency, and scalability.
• Configure and maintain customer‑specific AI Writers and related content‑generation workflows within Talkoot.
• Partner with Content Leads and other subject‑matter experts to incorporate creative feedback into prompts and system instructions.
• Document prompting decisions, testing results, and final configurations so solutions can be maintained and improved over time.
• Communicate all implemented changes clearly and succinctly to internal Customer Team.
• Work efficiently across multiple customer projects and meet established production timelines.
• Identify recurring issues or opportunities that could improve Talkoot’s prompting methods, tools, or processes.

Who you are

• Hands‑on experience using generative AI tools and developing prompts for professional, creative and/or production use.
• Strong creative perspective and sound editorial judgment. You can recognize when copy feels generic or misses the brand’s voice, and know how to make it more distinctive, natural, and engaging
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose why an AI-generated output is not working and determine what to change.
• Strong writing, editing, and language skills, particularly the ability to distinguish between subjective preference and requirements that can be translated into repeatable instructions.
• Comfortable experimenting, testing multiple approaches, and learning through iteration.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines, creative briefs, examples, and customer feedback and translate them into structured AI instructions.
• High attention to detail. Able to evaluate AI outputs against technical requirements like formatting consistency & precise legal requirements, while maintaining the speed and pragmatism required for at‑scale production work.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with ecommerce, product content, SEO, creative production, or content operations is a plus.
• Experience working with LLMs, structured prompting, AI evaluation, or AI‑assisted content workflows is strongly preferred.
